'Sing Sweet Nightingale'....

Today I've begun to spring clean my house and a song popped into my head: 'Sing Sweet Nightingale' from the ever so famous Cinderella movie. You know, the song she sings while on her hands & knees while scrubbing the floor? Well, I haven't exactly been scrubbing the floor (yet), but I have been wiping down the walls, baseboards, doors, window frames, etc. I hope to finish it all by Friday this week. We shall see.

Addy has been "helping" me and while they were eating lunch, I decided to clean the top of the cabinets in the kitchen. I know I was being watched with hawk eyes because no sooner did I start when I hear a small voice ask:

"Mommy, why are you standing on top of the counter?"
Me: "Because I'm dusting the tops of the cabinets."
"Ooohhh, mooommmm....you're gonna get a spankin from daddy! You better get down right now! I'm tir-wed of it!"

I had to stifle my giggles.
